Some research indicates that micro-clots have a big part in forming Long Covid.
British Medical Journal shares the professional opinion on not protecting children in schools etc, and their judgement on the British lack of protection is harsh. UK has a similar approach as Sweden on protection in schools etc.
Now medical staff can use a blood test to decide wether a patient has Long Covid or not. Accuracy 90%.

As the SARS-Cov-2 virus is capable to cross the blood/brain barrier it is easy to understand that the virus will also affect the brain. So what does it do? We don’t know all about that yet, but enough to understand that it is serious. Also; how do we treat it?
Long Covid among elite athletes
Being fit, for once, doesn’t help against covid and foremost not against Long Covid. This a not so well known fact among athletes still. And recovering from Long Covid is generally difficult. Science is still struggling to understand Long Covid, so the best way of not getting Long Covid is the stay uninfected, or not get infected again. Wear an effective mask, N95/KN95/Ffp2 or better, avoid large gatherings, work from home if you can.
